1. Preamble
SUSTAINIMMO is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and users of its website accessible at https://www.sustainablerealestate.fr (the "Site"), and takes all necessary steps in this regard. In particular, SUSTAINIMMO undertakes to ensure a level of protection of personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), including all French laws and regulations implementing, supplementing, or replacing the GDPR as the case may be.
SUSTAINIMMO collects and processes, through cookies and other trackers, personal data related to Visitors and Users of the Site. Visitors refer to individuals who connect to the Site and use the Site without creating a personal account, and who have provided their personal data to SUSTAINIMMO through the "contact" page. Users refer to individuals who have created an account on the Site.
Visitors and Users are collectively referred to as "Concerned Individuals."
This cookie policy ("Cookie Policy") describes how personal data of Concerned Individuals is collected through cookies and other trackers, and processed.
The processing of personal data is carried out by the company SUSTAINIMMO, a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of 20,000 euros, whose registered office is located at 9 rue Anatole de la Forge, 75017 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 932 944 002 ("SUSTAINIMMO").
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file deposited by the Site's servers under SUSTAINIMMO's control, and stored locally by the browser in a dedicated space on the hard drive or terminal of the Concerned Individual (computer, tablet, mobile phone, or any other device connected to an electronic communications network) when viewing content published on the Site or online advertising.
The file can only be read by its issuer, namely SUSTAINIMMO, who, during its validity period, can recognize the relevant terminal each time it accesses content containing cookies from said issuer.
Cookies allow SUSTAINIMMO to record information about the navigation and path of the Concerned Individual on the Site.
Before setting up these cookies, SUSTAINIMMO requests the consent of the Concerned Individual in accordance with the law, except in exceptional cases.
3. What cookies does SUSTAINIMMO use?
● Purely technical cookies
Some features of the Site may not work if SUSTAINIMMO does not use certain cookies (technical or functional cookies), which are essential for browsing the Site and enjoying its features. In this case, the law does not require SUSTAINIMMO to obtain the prior consent of the Concerned Individual before depositing these cookies.
These include "session ID" or "session identifiers" cookies, whose purpose is to allow the User to stay connected throughout their browsing on the Site, without having to enter their login and password again. These cookies also allow the User to reconnect to the Site without having to re-enter their login and password.
● Other cookies
In addition to purely technical cookies, after obtaining the prior consent of the Concerned Individuals, SUSTAINIMMO implements performance and audience measurement cookies, targeted or advertising cookies, and conversion tracking cookies, as more fully described in Article 5.
● Cookies from third-party sites
The Site may contain links to other sites. SUSTAINIMMO does not know which cookies are used by these sites. For more information, please refer to the information provided by these third-party sites on their own cookies.
4. What data is collected through cookies?
SUSTAINIMMO indirectly collects, through cookies, data related to the navigation of the Concerned Individual, such as:
● identification data: the IP address of the Concerned Individual;
● terminal identifier: operating system used, information on the type of browser and version used, internet access provider of the Concerned Individual[PJ3] [CR4]
● acceptance data: pages visited, duration of visited pages.
The collected data is not used by SUSTAINIMMO to cross-reference with other data processing.
5. For what purposes does SUSTAINIMMO deposit cookies?
SUSTAINIMMO collects personal data through cookies and other trackers to understand how Concerned Individuals navigate the Site, and to obtain data from which SUSTAINIMMO can improve the browsing experience in the future, address personalized offers to the Concerned Individuals, identify the User when accessing their account, measure the audience and performance of the Site, measure the conversion rate and the impact of advertising campaigns implemented on social networks, and carry out targeted advertising operations.
The purposes, legal bases, and durations of validity are described below:

6. Who are the recipients of the cookies?
The information collected through cookies strictly necessary for the provision of the service at the request of the User is not disclosed to third parties, except to the Site hosting provider who stores all the data.
Information regarding performance, audience measurement, and conversion tracking may be used by SUSTAINIMMO or by a third party. The recipients of the data collected by cookies are Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, each for the data that concerns them.
Data collected through cookies may also be disclosed to:
● Individuals authorized by SUSTAINIMMO to process this data, after signing a confidentiality agreement, including SUSTAINIMMO employees;
● SUSTAINIMMO's external advisors: lawyers, accountants, auditors, etc., subject to a confidentiality obligation;
● Authorities: in accordance with the law, a judicial requisition, and/or a court decision;
● Any third party in case of merger-acquisition, total or partial transfer of assets, direct or indirect change of control, or any other form of restructuring implemented by SUSTAINIMMO.
7. What can the Concerned Individual do regarding cookies?
Once the Concerned Individual has accepted the deposit of cookies, the Concerned Individual's Internet browser automatically transmits information to SUSTAINIMMO, such as their IP address (Internet Protocol), the browser version of the terminal they are using, and their browsing on the Site (pages visited in particular).
The Concerned Individual can configure their browser at any time to receive a notification when a cookie is deposited, or to oppose the use of cookies.
While most browsers are set by default to accept the installation of all cookies, the Concerned Individual has the option, if they wish, to choose to accept the deposit of all cookies, reject them systematically, or choose which ones they accept according to the defined purposes, by making certain settings. SUSTAINIMMO draws the Concerned Individual's attention to the fact that by opposing the deposit of certain cookies, their user experience may be degraded.
SUSTAINIMMO informs the Concerned Individual that they can at any time change their settings by withdrawing their consent.
For the management of cookies and the choices of the Concerned Individual, the configuration of each browser is different. It is described in the browser's help menu, which will allow the Concerned Individual to know how to modify their cookie preferences:

Moreover, deactivating advertising cookies does not mean that the Concerned Individual will not receive advertising, but simply that this advertising will no longer be tailored to their interests.
8. What are the rights of Concerned Individuals?
Concerned Individuals have the right of access, rectification, erasure, and portability of their personal data, as well as the right to object to and limit processing, under the conditions provided by applicable regulations.
SUSTAINIMMO may ask Concerned Individuals for their explicit consent to process their personal data, as described in Article 5. In this case, Concerned Individuals can, at any time, withdraw their consent to the processing of their data carried out by SUSTAINIMMO for targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, audience measurement, and conversion tracking purposes, as explained in Article 7.
Withdrawing consent by a Concerned Individual will have no impact on the experience offered on the Site outside the scope of the processing concerned.
Concerned Individuals can address their request to SUSTAINIMMO:

If Concerned Individuals believe that their rights have not been respected, they can lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), the competent authority in France.
9. What is the retention period of personal data by SUSTAINIMMO?
SUSTAINIMMO only retains the data collected through cookies for the period strictly necessary for the purposes set out in Article 5, namely 25 months.
The data of Concerned Individuals is subsequently archived with restricted access for an additional period to allow SUSTAINIMMO to fulfill its legal and/or regulatory obligations regarding archiving and data retention. At the end of this additional period, the data is permanently deleted from SUSTAINIMMO's databases.
10. Is there a transfer of personal data of Concerned Individuals abroad?
Upon obtaining the consent of the Concerned Individual, their data is transferred abroad, in particular to providers located in the United States who provide SUSTAINIMMO with audience measurement, conversion tracking, and targeted advertising services. SUSTAINIMMO implements the necessary safeguards to secure these transfers abroad, including contractual measures, to ensure an adequate level of protection abroad.
11. Modification of the Cookie Policy
SUSTAINIMMO reserves the right to modify and/or update this Cookie Policy. The revised Cookie Policy will be posted on the Site with the indication of the last update date.
